Green Apples

Lots of photo's!

My new product samples from LaLa Land arrived this weekend. I absolutely love the large, board backed prints (art blocks). Included were new card samples and mini cards, a beautiful poster featuring Harlequin, and Cat Heaven wrapping paper!

Miss Lemon at large...

Orchard Twins above the hearth...

A framed harlequin poster just to the back of Orchard Twins here, not very visible, sadly. I made these in a bit of a rush.

LaLa Land catalogue. Innapropriate Penguin Postcard placement to the left there :-)

Red Haired Twins card.

Card samples and mini cards to the rear.

Under Cover card.

Back soon!

Lou:

I adore posts that show the interior of your home. Always so light and fresh. I also like hearing words for items in England that differ from the words here in America. You called your rope a skipping rope. I love the sound of that. We call it a jump rope. I like a skipping rope much better! It sounds whimsical.

You seem to be very happy with LaLa Land. You know, I talked to them a while back and they were super interested in my art, then....poof, I never heard back. I emailed the guy, but nothing ever came from it. Hmmmm....I guess they changed their minds!

Thank you for sharing a bit of your home and your life. Mirlo is looking lovely these days, as usual.

Thanks Kim:)
Jump rope did pass my mind when I was writing that, for some reason!

I'm sorry to hear about your LaLaLand issue, too. I have only ever dealt with one female member, so can't imagine what went wrong. Oddly, I have had a few experiences which are similar recently - one offer to appear in a large digital art manual (the person i was talking to simply vanished during our conversation), and another publisher who wanted me to appear in a prolific art compilation left me standing too. The most crushing for me was a huge gallery invite in Europe. I think this kind of thing is probably quite common - one would hope!

Lucy, the cards were designed by Karen Mahony, Illustrated by Alex Ukolov and published by Baba Studio, Prague.
The web info is www.magic-realist.com, www.bohemian-cats.com and www.baba-store.com

I used to know these guys and somehow fell out of touch with them. They make wonderful things! x

And thanks, Remolle!

love your house shots as well. Your home always looks so quirky, feminine and uncluttered. There's so much inspiration in this one post. How interesting you don't like women's magazines. Does that include Lula and Red? Just fascinated by that as I'm such a magazine hound. Books of course always better. xx

Oh Lula is another exception, i love Lula!
Not heard of Red though. Will google:)

What a gorgeous post...I always love your photos. I'm so excited to learn that 'Cat Heaven' was actually made into wrapping paper! I

Congratulations on all of your new goodies. I'll be heading over to LaLa Land to drool for a bit. :)
