I actually intended this to be a childhood self portrait. It rings quite true, although not an exact likeness. I occasionally wore a similar dress, but wouldn't have tolerated ribbons for one minute! So this is the farm/stables where I grew up.....never thought I would draw a hay bale...

Escape into Night 1972

Just finished watching this series and wanted to share. Based on the book 'Marianne Dreams' by Catherine Storr, I much prefered this version which features a more touching conclusion than the 1988 film adaptation Paper House.

Definitely worth a watch!

A recent commissioned work, based upon and older piece titled 'Unicia'. I see them as little star makers, fond of excess and celebration. They're also somewhat moody, so I wouldn't care to upset them.
